Snacks Suitable For PCOS


First: for nuts category.

You may choose low carb mix, omega 3 trail mix, or any one of these (macademia trail mix or almond cashew mix or crunchy 5 nuts mix), or pure roasted california almonds.


Second: for the muesli/granola category.

I would recommend women with pcos to choose muesli rather than granola due to the lower sugar content in muesli in comparison with granola. You may pick tropical fruit muesli, or omega 3 supreme muesli, or classic fruit and nut muesli. If you were to pick granola, there are 2 options available which is lower in sugar including high protein matcha granola and high protein coconut peanut butter granola.



Third: for the chips category.

Healthy options included vacuum fried tempura eggplant, vegetable chips, cajun spice cheese hummus chips, and seaweed chips.


Lastly, food that is not suitable for PCOS as snacks is dried fruits. Dried fruits have higher concentration of fructose as compared to fresh fruits and there is always additional sugars being added into dried fruits which is highly not recommended for PCOS to take them as snacks.
