No matter which type of sugars you're eating, be it brown sugar / rock sugar / white granulated sugar, they are all originated and extracted from the same source - bamboo.
The only difference is their process of production differs from each other, and hence end products are not the same.
They are all under the same category as - add sugar.
As according to WHO recommendation, we should limit our add sugar intake within 5% of our daily total calorie intake.
